On Wednesday the 1st of March 2017 a team of boys from The Bridge Short Stay School in years 8 and 9 went to a 6 a-side football game at 5’s Pavilion and Sports Ground, Bradbury Lane, Cannock.
On Wednesday the 8th of March, a small group of students were taken to Wembley Arena to sing in Voices in a million.
On 7th February a group of students from the Bridge visited the Tate Gallery in London to view the Rauschenberg Exhibition.
On 2nd February, Bridge students went to view the Roy Lichtenstein exhibition at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.
On Wednesday 25th January students at Bridge took part in Holocaust Memorial Day where they took part in activities to commemorThe day began with students looking at the story of a survivor of the Holocaust, Arek Hersh. This inspired them to ask a range of questions to think about the experiences of the victims, bystanders and perpetrators of the Holocaust. Following this, students also discussed the theme of Holocaust Memorial Day, ‘How can life go on?’.
Six students and teachers from Bridge Short Stay School have enjoyed the experience of a lifetime this week.
During British values Week, the pupils were tasked with creating an artistic piece of work to commemorate Remembrance Sunday. It was decided that they would create a visual piece of art work to hang in the reception area to be enjoyed by staff, pupils and visitors.
