We are a two classroom nurture base in Rugeley who provide full time education for Staffordshire primary pupils who are struggling to successfully access learning in their mainstream school.  Our remit is to focus on supporting non EHCP cases to reduce the risk of exclusion.

Dual roll placements can be a combination of full time or part time attendance from 2021-22 and aim of our intervention is to support mainstream schools in re-integrating pupils though a combination of outreach observations, advisory work, SENDCO support, six to twelve week placements at Bridge Academy and reintegration planning.  We work jointly with other agencies and families to help to identify barriers to learning to ensure longer term success for each child.

Placements cost £50 (plus PP) per full day and we can offer from two to five full days a week in centre.  The outcome and duration of a placement are agreed at admission.

Our alternative provision offers a safe space and modified curriculum with maximum group sizes of seven pupils, with enhanced learning support.  Our curriculum offer includes Forest Schools and core subjects including PSHE.
