Dear Parent/Carer
School Age Immunisations – June 2021
Please be aware that we have been contacted by the school immunisation team who will be offering a sweep/catch up of all the due and overdue immunisations in school on Wednesday June 9th, 2021. The scope of the programme will be as follows:-
- Year 8 – HPV and MMR if required
- Year 9 are to be offered Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio and Meningitis as per normal schedule alongside missed HPV/ MMR
- Year 10/Year11 are to be offered any missing vaccinations - Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio, Meningitis ACWY, HPV and MMR
Where possible vaccination sessions will be offered at schools using an on-line booking system fUSION, which allows parents to consent for their child's vaccination(s) and book an appointment slot for their vaccination(s) at school. If schools are unable to accommodate we will be offering community venues for parents to access using the fUSION system
The immunisation team will be in touch for parental consent once we have provided them our up to date school roll.
